Like the Magnum, its precision will blow your mind, and because it is wider, it is even more stable. Extra width makes it even better when busting crud, bashing bumps and tearing it up in the pow. The secret is Head's proprietary Liquid Metal and KERS system. Metal always makes a ski more stable, but it tends make a ski feel somewhat dead. Liquid Metal has far more rebound than any other metal component available in skis, allowing the Magnum to get from turn to turn very quickly and feel very lively. KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) is the latest evolution of Head's proprietary Intelligence construction. KERS transorms kinetic energy (vibrations) into electricity and stores it in a chip embedded in the ski. This energy is then released into the skis structure at the end of the turn, improving rebound from turn to turn. The more aggressive the ski has to be, the more aggressive KERS makes it.
